In NBC's show Heroes an eclipse is very symbolic and represents a new age in super human powers. Some of the characters gained their powers from the eclipse when in reality looking into an eclipse can cause severe damage to the human eye. The lunar-solar alignment took place on Monday (4/22/2012) morning and was viewed by millions of people in some parts of Asia and The Western U.S .Doctors warned viewers to not stare into the eclipse because of incidents where people have lost their sight in doing so. NASA sells these specialized designed filter glasses that allow for you to view the sun as well but No.14 Welders glasses work just as fine.
